Classic Dirndl

I fell in love with this fabric. It’s a cotton sateen, soft and lightweight with a slight sheen. It features 10% stretch across the grain for comfort and ease. The colors in the print jumped off the surface. And I knew it would feed the sixties vibe I was going for. After making bell bottoms and the signature sixties mini, I decided to add a classic dirndl. I love the waist band, finished with a rolled edge and belt loops.  The suspenders are sold separately. I chose to do that so I could present quality for a price. One pair of suspenders will work with many seasons to come of pants and skirts.

size xxs has some slightly simplified construction methods to fit the small size.
