Peter’s best friend is a pet rabbit that his third grade class rescued from a cosmetic testing lab. In his real life, the rabbit got loose and ran away. It only seemed appropriate that Peter would find him in this adventure. I made him a Flemish Giant, so I could make him six feet tall, and I gave him the wisdom of a president who has buried many a brother. Who does that sound like?
The rabbit hole is a crazy place. It was inspired by a loose memory of mine from childhood: the bar in the first Star Wars movie, filled with all of the alien creatures. That moment in film is my single most exciting movie moment.
